Montreal-raised eclectic artist Spek‘s alternative and envelope-pushing musical style has seen him fusing jazz, electro-bass music, hip-hop with experimental sounds, with a unique, bombastic edge. His latest release, “Sour” is a bit of all the things mentioned as he delivers an engaging story about life’s unpredictability and the journey to self-discovery and contentment. The production is cinematic, punchy and dark, which underpins the emotion-laden theme. Also joining him on the track is singer Tina Grace, whose laid-back melodic draw adds a soothing element to the track.
