My first taste of Spectac’s music was when he dropped a solid collaboration album with the ubiquitous 9th Wonder. That was years ago and a lot has happened since then as he hooked up with producer Amiri once again on their sophomore release Soul Beautiful on Kevin Nottingham’s label Hipnott Records.
This is a mellow banger, hard hitting boom bap drums and jazzy horns reminiscent of the 20s and 30s with a scratched hook for good measure.
