Copenhagen-based half Danish/Kenyan rapper Son of Sun makes his entry on our site with “Tumbleweed.” A punchy and anthemic tune that dives into the journey of the Tumbleweed which blows life by spreading its seeds across the open lands. Backed by a cinematic and dark soundscape, Son of Sun uses the element as a metaphor for rising within the ashes and finding new life way beyond what one might expect. His flow is energetic and the use of melodic inflections sure makes him a bit different from the pack.

He recently got nominated in the category of best Hip Hop release in national magazine GAFFA for his 2021 album Coronal Mass Ejection.
