Brooklyn hip-hop artist and Emmy-nominated filmmaker SO4P makes his entrance on our site with two joints from his stash. The songs “Bogus Lotus” and “Old Image” showcase his knack for penning personal tales filled with relatable motifs and honest lyrics laced over somber and moody soundscapes.
The first cut titled “Bogus Lotus” explores the rapper’s inner feelings during a mental convalescence period after going through profound personal issues. He makes use of a solemn and moody piano-driven backdrop to share his thoughts for listeners to feel.

The second cut “Old Image” follows the rapper’s journey in this thing called life. From his past struggles, writer’s block and not being able to find his center, SO4p dives deep into his insecurities and fleshes them out in a nuanced and reflective manner.
