SKINNS & TyC drop their first single, “ALIENS” alongside vocalist Josh White. The song has a future bass/pop vibe laced with smooth melodies and very expressive lyrics to match. The overall vibe was influenced by the changes that Skinn’s went through in the last year since releasing his last projects. Skinn also featured longtime collaborator, Josh White, whose sound perfectly dominates the 808 driven drops and dreamy swells.
“Aliens” is a very ambitious first step for these two new collaborators, combining TyC’s huge arrangement aesthetic with Skinns spacious melodic versatility. Skinns and TyC are carving a path for their own sound, drawing from all genres, and if one thing’s for sure it is going to be full of surprises. The two are releasing a collaborative EP this spring while SKINNS finishes his debut album for the fall.
