California producer Sir Veterano rallies up the best out the West coast on his new song “Reputable” and it’s accompanying video. In his aim to bridge the generational gap as he brings OG MC Eiht, Fresno’s finest Planet Asia, and Mitchy Slick ( of Strong Arm Steady fame) to form the ultimate alliance. Over a thumping bass-driven beat, the trio displays nothing but that good old head nodding dopeness we all love. Planet Asia opens the flood gates with vivid rhymes like “…Cornerstore video music, name ringing like liberty bell, banging on the beat, my gang activity…” followed by Mitchy Slick’s energetic style while MC Eiht wraps it up with his laidback intentional flow.

The visual was directed by Yellow Nguyen, the man behind videos for Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. The director goes for a very slick and cinematic aesthetic to capture each emcee’s unique demeanor and style. A lot of performance focus shots were used here to add a certain urgency to the overall vibe.
