Multi-instrumentalist Simon Jefferis  teams up with his Longtime collaborator Abhi The Nomad on his new single “Back 2 Ours.” Helmed by Jefferis who concocts heavy jazz-infused backdrops rife with lush keys, vibraphones (courtesy of David Mrakpor), and thick basslines to match the solid grooves. Abhi doesn’t waste time and lets loose on the microphone with his insightful lyrics that explore his background from a retrospective angle. This is quite refreshing and shows how versatile Abhi can be when he gets in his bag. The track is beautifully arranged as well from the smooth intro to the verses after which the vibraphone solo comes in at the end.

“Back 2 Ours” is the first single from Simon Jefferis’s upcoming debut album Vibrations.
