Emerging rapper Selah Guru steps into the limelight as “The Last Jedi.” This new track is a no-holds-barred showcase of unfiltered lyricism over a hard-hitting cinematic backdrop. Lines like
“So far I’m the illest ever/
I made it for the dough/
Mozzarella or cheddar/
I am the storm there’s no need for the umbrella/
Common catastrophe calm in any weather/
Lyrically yall need to get it together/ok/
i know my rhyme much better/”
underpin the rapper’s mission statement as the last of his kind, wielding the microphone like a lightsaber to go agaisnt those who desecrate the culture of hip-hop.
