Producer Scott Xylo thrilled us with the retro video game/cartoon inspired single Neo Gotham a while back and now he presents 2003 // HeERO Scott, the full body of work from which the aforementioned single was spawned. The retro video game-inspired instrumental tape is 11 tracks deep and pays homage to a variety of video games, cartoons, Japanimation and other culture. A blend of soulful synths, ethereal backdrops, obscure vocal samples and head nodding drums.
I totally dig this! Peep ‘Blading In The Park’, ‘Kaijudo Masters’…sick stuff!
