Montreal-based vocalist Sam I Am Montolla hits us up with this brilliant 6 track project titled Made Her which was produced by DJ and producer Shash’U. You already know it’s gonna be dope from the jump as the 70s funk guitar vibes on the first track ‘Where is the top?’ creeps up on you and the dopeness doesn’t stop there. Shash’U’s production is sparkling, dreamy, thumping yet soulful enough for Sam I Am’s lush vocals. I’m pretty stumped trying to pick a favorite song on here (but Fabric and Show Ya Light are on top of my list).
This is definitely in the category of half short, twice strong. Refreshing and dope from start to finish. Hit the play button and of course show some support by copping the EP.
