Wu-Tang rapper/producer RZA has taken on yet another entrepreneurial venture. The uber talented musician recently announced the formation of his own music label, Soul Temple Records. According to RZA, Soul Temple’s intention is to represent different creative collectives from a wide variety of musical genres.

The label’s first official release will be the movie soundtrack to The Main With The Iron Fist. In addition to compiling it’s soundtrack, RZA is also writing and co-directing the kung-fu indie flick. Set in 19th century China, the story follows The Blacksmith (RZA) who is forced to come to the defense of his fellow villagers. “The Man With The Iron Fist” will star RZA himself, Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. Check it out when it hits theaters November 2nd.

Stax Records/RED Distribution, known for their Southern soul sounds, has been enlisted to help contribute, market and push the soundtrack.
