Hard-working Phoenix, Arizona-based emcee Roqy Tyraid is back with a new single “Den of Thieves” that showcases his songwriting prowess and versatility in all its glory. Bolstered by the cinematic and sombre backdrop provided by Lucci Luke who blends excellent sampling and live instrumentation, Roqy delivers a vivid and poignant tale of treachery and the ramifications. The lyrics are detailed and of course, his knack for blending dynamic flows and cadences goes unnoticed alongside the melodic elements. He also name-drops the late Black Rob in a stylish manner depicting his troubles and his classic single “Woah”.

Hp-hop nerds would recall that Black Rob used the same sample for his single “I dare you”.
