Greater New York-based emcee Rockwelz delivers a chilling tale of a young boy raised in the streets who lacks the know how to enjoy his youth. The daily routine of grind and hustle to pay his mother’s bills forces him to grow up real fast. Aptly titled “Lil Man Got Heart”, Rockwelz’s lyricism is unquestioned and effortlessly depicts vivid imagery of life in the streets from the young man’s viewpoint. Along for the ride is fellow New Yorker, Fred The Godson who brings a unique take on the song’s premise while dropping gems for those who care to listen.

Rockwelz is a member of the Forbe$ music group made up of him, BeKingdom, M-Flamez, and King Myda$. Formerly known as Joox ENT, they changed their name in early 2013 to The Forbe$ to remind themselves that everything they put in their music is 100% authentic. Get more of his music here.
