It’s a new year, and we got a new release from multi-faceted rapper/songwriter Quinja. Aptly titled “On My Way,” the track sees the burgeoning emcee take the bull by the proverbial horns, as she stands on business. Over punchy drum breaks and a dark cinematic backdrop, Quinja reminds listeners of her lyrical pedigree and antecedents as a Nigerian-American carving a path in the game. The lyrics have aspirational tones with a touch of self-empowerment and bravado, underpinned by edgy and expressive flows.

“On My Way” is a precursor to Quinja’s forthcoming debut rap album, West Coast African Princess: On the Road to Crown Era.
