Crown Nation affiliate Quelle Chris went on an absolute tear in 2013. His latest album, Ghost At The Finish Line, finds him at perhaps his most irreverent, offering imaginative perspectives on life, money, rap, sex and art. Just in case we were tired of all the gifts he so graciously gave us this last year, here comes a video for his album’s eponymous final track. It’s wild, bright, wildly bright and somehow thought-provoking–I was convinced by its neon scheme, suggesting that the characterization of the rapper is only as important as his money.
Plus, bonus points for the hook. Max Bell from Passion of the Weiss pointed out its resemblance to everyone’s favorite Cali Swag District song.
Sometimes I feel like Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody really love me Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody love me Don’t nobody really love me I ain’t make it that way And when I’m gettin’ money everything will be okay;) ;) You’re killing us, Chris.
