Tanook33 (Richmond, Virginia) shows off his skillfully crafted production in “Love is a Hymn” featuring Undead Greg. The record is taken from the project ‘Gaze of the Cormorant Vol 1: The Brown Capes Sage.’
An intoxicating blend of Lofi and slightly gritty beats serve as the backdrop with heightening instruments driven by drums.
The premise of the record suggests that although life is a b*tch we must try to perfect our pitch. The reality is the world we live in is not all butterflies and rainbows, and how we react and move can be a hymn or music without emotions.
