After dropping the visuals for his single “Tarzan” last November, NY emcee Prince Wiser is back for the new year.  The man comes through with 3 bangers in a set he calls “No Sound In The Jungle”. Not sure if this is just a one off endeavour but he sure seems super focused on the tracks here. He recruits producers OhGoshLeotus and Albumkutz productions who provide the right soundscape for Prince Wiser’s venom filled lyrics.

The set starts off with the anthemic “Fifth year” and sets the tone nicely for Prince’s bravado lyrics and unhinged performance. The following cuts “Blackyardigans” and “Different” offer another range of Prince’s writing abilities as the soundscape switches between gritty boom-bap-esque sounds and down tempo trap backdrops. The entire prioject is quite short but definitely worth checking out.
