Brisbane, Queensland-based artist Preston Pierce is charting his own path as a producer/record label owner and with 7 projects under his belt, he is definitely not resting on his oars. The self-taught musician comes through with two songs from his archives. “Miss You Mama” and “Kelly in Cloudland” featuring Brian Wernecke.

“Miss You Mama” is a heartfelt tribute to his mother and to everyone who is dealing with the loss of their mother. The production is bright and uplifting and the lyrics are positive. Quite far from being solemn, he runs through the good times and the lessons he learned with quite a positive disposition and heartfelt lyrics as well.

The second track “Kelly in Cloudland” is a soulful and reflective track that sees him reminiscing on the first time he met his wife. Over the bright piano-laden backdrop, he takes us back to the first time he met his wife and the events that occurred leading up to their blissful union. He sure details the moment with a vivid lyrical approach and he is joined by guitarist Brian Wernecke who adds a nice melodic riff to the track.
