Living rap legends Planet Asia and Milano Constantine team up on the hard-hitting video for “Don’t Become a Victim” taken from their self-titled collab EP. Produced by BodyBag Ben, the track is a straight-up lyrical fest with each emcees delivering verbal haymakers as they step up to the microphone. Joining the duo is fellow emcee Jay Royale who helps start off the barrage with witty lines and multis. The video was filmed on location in NYC under the directorial vision of Wil Adamy, who leans on the undeniable chemistry between the trio and laces them with colorful videos as they showcase their wares.
The EP was helmed by New York’s DJ Enyoutee of No Ideas Original Radio Show which airs every Saturday night from Poughkeepsie. And as the deejay tells it, getting these two together not only felt right but completely necessary. “Planet Asia and Milano respect each other as artists, so when I reached out, they were both down to make it happen without hesitation,” Enyoutee explains. “We all felt it was something that needed to be done.”
