Brisbane’s three-piece Pink Matter makes their TWIB debut with their new release “You’ll Never Know,” a resounding record that tackles self-confidence in their own unique way.  “You’ll Never Know” takes the perspective of a girl talking to her friend, telling her that, although she exudes beauty, she doesn’t truly see it within herself.

The track is co-produced with close collaborator Harvey Sutherland, who adds his own unique touches on the track. Fusing elements from pop, disco, and neo-soul, we get a taste of this unique world over warm textures, pulsating basslines, and jazz-Esque drums that slowly build up into a climax in the middle section.

The visuals are pretty solid too and exude a vintage aesthetic that taps into the late 80s, early 90s era.

“You’ll Never Know” is Pink Matter’s first single to be released on the Melbourne-based tastemaker label Daily Nightly (Untitled Group).  Pink Matter is set to launch their brand new live show ahead of selling out all 3 shows as part of a co-headline residency with First Beige at Brisbane’s The Zoo.
