Brisbane based soul/pop band Pink Matter shares the visuals for their first single in the year titled “Soul Fruit”. The eclectic piece strays from the norm and taps into a more experimental arena while maintaining the soul elements to some degree. “Soul Fruit” sees the band working with Harvey Sutherland who brings electronic-infused energy into the mix. The track details the duality of reality versus a contrived image that’s been edited and warped to show only what a person wants to portray. In other words, it peeps through the transient facade people put up to fool others.

The video directed by Caleb De Leon & Steph Liquorish follows the band as they perform in different spots flanked by ethereal and psychedelic visual effects to augment the message being conveyed to the audience.
