Multi-talented rapper/actor/singer Phil. is back with a new heartfelt single titled “Journal Entry From 20 19 (freestyle)”. The track is a chilled moody track made up of sparse drums, sombre keys and mellow textures provided by Chicago-based Aaron Day. The track sees him teaming up with RoyceDaVoyce and Jeff Gibbs and it explores the trials and tribulations of being black men in today’s society and how that weight can carry on their shoulders.
