This just came through the wire and what we have here is a short clip of the joint ‘Haile Selassie Karate’ from Pharoahe “Assassin 13′”Monch. After evading capture by the world government hell bent on rounding up the last of the hip-hop assassins, Monch heads back to the motherland to simmer down and possibly re-strategize.

I’m loving the simple approach employed here, besides showing us a glimpse of Mitchell’s Plain(South Africa), the focus shifts from Monch to the residents of the aforementioned place. Normal people, doing normal things like everyone else in the world though it seems we see it through the eyes of Assassin 13, like a mental diary of his travels and then some.

Totally digging this and y’all should too. Get with the program already.
