Coalmine Records is excited to announce a special release of their acclaimed Pharoahe Monch single, “Get Down,” remixed by none other than BX legend/DITC member, Buckwild. M-Phazes‘ who produced the original “Get Down” crafted it with a soulful, upbeat instrumental whereas Buck flips the script and takes it back to the Golden Era. The outcome is a jazzy, more reflective track equipped with Buck’s trademark use of the vibraphone and neck-snapping drums. DJ Revolution—who’s also featured on the original—overhauled the hook by including scratched samples from Buck’s fellow DITC members Lord Finesse and Diamond D.

The remix can be purchased on translucent purple vinyl in limited quantities while supplies last. Copies can be ordered direct via Bandcamp as well as Fat Beats and Coalmine Records’ online stores.

Stream/download “Get Down (Remix)” on all DSPs here.
