UK emcee Otis Mensah shares a vivid coming of age story on his newest effort titled “Internet Cafe.” Backed by Elijah Bane‘s solemn jazzy backdrop, he paints a vivid picture of a young adolescent who just discovered the internet and is excessively addicted to it leading to severe disconnect from reality. The subject matter is quite relatable and touchy for all and for some who may be stuck in that rabbit hole, it sure would give them some hope or some form of closure or understanding.

“Internet Cafe” is the second episode of Otis Mensah’s #OtisMensahExists, his new series of musical musings and animation. “Internet Cafe” was inspired by the 2013 documentary “Web Junkie”, a film about internet gaming addiction and a rehabilitation center in Beijing, China, claiming to treat it.
