South Side Chicago producing maestro Onaje Jordan, is preparing to drop a maxi-single set and in the interim gives us something to rock to in the form of this gritty single titled “Play Ya Role.” The moody piano-driven banger sees him teaming with emcees Substance 810, Kingdom Kome, Killy Shoot, and DJ Grazzhoppa who provides excellent vocal scratches on the chorus section.

The track is a full-frontal verbal assault carried out by the emcees who hold nothing back while unleashing their arsenal on unsuspecting foes. This single is the first leak from Jordan’s forthcoming maxi-single The Alpha In The Room. The 4 track body of work is scheduled to drop on 9/10 and features appearances by many of Jordan’s Hometeam compatriots (track listing and appearances to be announced shortly).
