Dubai-based, Michigan-raised rapper/producer Omar Awbu f/k/a bigOmuziq drops new single “DONT GO” as he prepares for his new album PERSPECTIVE(S). The track is an aspirational anthem that explores the power of self-belief amongst negativity and the noise of naysayers and detractors. Backed by a soulful and cinematic backdrop filled with vocal chops and soft rhythms, the emcee delivers some profound bars like
“But why care what they don’t endorse?/When Gaza still get no support?/I do this on my own accord/Still do this no disclosure forms”
The result is a much-needed affirmation cut that we need in these wild times.
