I’ve been keeping a look out for the No State Backgammon Gang for the last half a year or so. A clique with five members, the dudes, who are still pretty young, late teens are so, are showing that they are incredible Hip Hop artists. nuLOVE is a duo of two of them, Jharee who takes production and Boycott on the verses and their Hip Hop is a very chill, vibing kind of Hip Hop, easy and relaxed to listen to but with a real authenticity and a jarring element that makes you sit up and hear what’s being played. Equinox Vol. 3, beats littered with Rhodes, continues that trend, and you can download after the jump.
