Regular readers of Word Is Bond will no doubt be aware of the talented German Hip Hopper Evan Awake. With an ear for a beat, a  feel for rhymes and a talented producer’s touch his mash ups were, while sometimes unorthodox, always on point. However his mash up output has noticably slowed in recent times as he makes his name with his own music after having honed his craft, and finally he announces that this will be his last one, dedicated to the one and only Nujabes.

A dedication to Nujabes and my last mashup. Maybe one day I will make a new one but for now I want to focus on my own productions and the promotion of other artists. So many of you have subscribed because of the mashups in the last couple of years and I’m so happy to have you guys as supporters and I really hope you all follow me on this next journey since this one has reached its end after more than 3 years…
