Noiz Boys is a musical duo from metro Detroit consisting of two brothers, Charlie and Joe who make their entry on our site with their new single titled “Medicine / The Real Me”. The track is a 2 part song that showcases the duo utilizing different beats to paint verbal pictures over. From bravado to thoughtful lines, the brothers do deliver the goods. The first part “Medicine” starts off with a cinematic and ethereal soundscape with no drums and sees Joe delivering an impassioned performance ripe with vivid lyricism. The track breaks down further before rising with a trap drum groove that Charlie uses to deliver his melodic flow which serves as the second part titled “The Real Me”.
All in all, the brothers give listeners two distinct sides of their personalities and unique styles.
The duo draws influence from hip-hop, R&B, indie pop, and alternative rock and often blends different genres into their repertoire. After a nearly 3 year hiatus, the group is back and better than ever with their newest single “If I Had You” set to release June 10th and their upcoming album White Noiz set to drop July 8th.
