Emerging Toronto based singer/songwriter Nicole Chambers delivers a reassuring track titled “I’m Fine.” The track is her first offering after perfecting her art behind the scenes and it’s a true showing of hard work and most of all, raw talent.

Armed with her warm honeyed vocals, Chambers delivers an uplifting cut that puts her experiences in perspective in a world where women are oft-overlooked or seen as objects. Chambers is unapologetically feminine and showcases skill in conveying her thoughts of outward strength. The saying ‘The smile is painted on” is the crux of the matter here as Chambers explains that most of us deal with issues by putting up the game face for the rest of the world but that is just how we deal with it and nothing more. At the end of it all, it’s quite okay to be not okay.

Chambers is currently working on her full-length project.
