Vancouver-based multi-faceted production duo Potatohead People (made up of Nick Wisdom and AstroLogical) deliver a funk-laden groovy remix of the song “Back To Life.” The track produced by Nick Marks is brimming with rich melodic tones, sparkling tones with plucky basslines and a head-nodding groove underpinned by a rich lyrical display from the emcees including Doron Lev. Lines like “Art for the people/Fresh produce germinate the planet/New strains junction/Jumpin on the 2 train” underpin the universal message in the song.
The remix follows Cinematic Chromatics Vol. III, the final chapter in a trilogy two years in the making, uniting Marks’ influences across film scoring, jazz, hip-hop, and electronica
