Received exciting news this morning when the talented brother 8Trak, mailed us about his new venture…”Orange Tree Records

Orange Tree Records, has the potential to become our new favourite label in the UK, as they cater to a market that it’s almost untapped in the UK, from Boom Bap Hip Hop, to  Soul Vibes.

We’ve been trying our best to support UK acts here at WIB, but where always a bit frustated that we could not go to one Label and find a roster of artists that we could stand behind. Well Orange Tree Records has a lot of potential to become that label. Hope they keep up the great work…

About:

“Orange Tree Records is a new record label and music promotion service aimed at promoting original UK soul and hip hop music and we will launch on 6th December 2010 with the release of ‘Fresh Fruit, Vol. 1’, a compilation EP of some of the most talented underground soul and hip hop acts in the UK. Please see the attached cover art and a Press Release for more information.”

You can preview all 5 tracks from the EP on the myspace page www.myspace.com/orangetreerecords
