His latest release is the video for the title track of his 2016 lp “Cry Freedom.”.  The song touches on several issues and challenges facing black folks and Marcel’s passionate delivery over the cinematic backdrop adds a superb touch to the song.

Baton Rouge emcee Marcel P. Black releases new video for the title track of the 2016 LP, “Cry Freedom.” The track was produced by Joe On the Track, and was shot/cut by Joe Mexican on location in North Baton Rouge. The song serves as a 2017 “Runaway Slave Hymn,” encouraging all oppressed people to fight for their freedom.
