Musa Reems a 19 year old artist from the west side of Chicago, IL. He attends Columbia College Chicago as a second year music business major and his influences are amongst others MF DOOM, The Wu – Tang Clan, Black Thought, and Sean Price.

He has been putting in work since the young age of 15, trying to create his own sound, and it definitely shows. We like what we hearing and looking forward to hearing more.

Here’s a few words from the man himself:

As I gear up to drop my debut full-length project, Where The Sun Never Rises, I have been focusing heavily on my first solo effort. This process has been extremely different from working in a group. During the making of my music, I have tried to create my own sound and branch off into new realms, while still remaining true to myself. The concentration I have put on song structure, mixing, and the overall aesthetic of my sound is something I look forward to sharing with others. The creation of new flows, the change and growth in my voice/delivery, lyricism and concepts are skills I am beginning to craft into my own.

The EP features two songs. The first track, “Eclipse”, is produced by JLL and it holds background vocals from singer / songwriter, Amare Symoné. The second song, “Colt 45”, is produced by SWM. Each song details introspective viewpoints and observations I have gathered during the past year of my life. Also in these songs, I give a new look on my cadence, style, and inflection. The project was recorded at Soundscape Studios and mixed by Jabari Rayford. Another Dos(e) was mastered by Collin Jordan at the Boiler Room. The artwork was created by Leo Lillard. Another Dos(e) was premiered via These Days on August 19, 2016.
