Murs and Daily Bread talk about “Riches”

ATL meets LA in the latest collaborative project between Atlanta-based electronic-producer Daily Bread and legendary LA-based MC Murs. Their focus single “Riches” is a blend of pop/hip-hop with D&B elements and as expected sees Murs dropping some thought-provoking lines about the daily struggle to stay afloat at the poverty line. The verses are candid and visceral and the pop-infused hook has a memorable melody that sticks in your ears after a while the use of vocal effects and scratches make it quite versatile and engaging from start to finish.

“Riches” is taken from Daily Bread and Murs’ collaborative project titled ATL.A, a 5 track body of work that blends Daily Bread’s soulful and energetic hip-hop production and Murs off-kilter concepts.
