Vangarde (Mr. Lif & Stu Bangas) tap the lyrical talents of Blacastan on their new single “Shelter In Place.”

The hard-hitting jam is strengthened by Stu Bangas’ cinematic production that sounds like an action-packed movie scene. The lyricist’s converger with a mix of bravado and insightful rhymes that take the government of the day to the task. Tired of the status quo, Lif and Blacastan call out world leaders and politicians whose underhanded dealings have gone unchecked. It’s quite moving and thought provoking from start to finish.

“Shelter In Place” is now on all platforms here. It can also be purchased for instant-grat off the iTunesBandcamp, and Amazon Music pre-order landing for Vangarde. The 11 track LP includes guest appearances by Murs, Akrobatik, Eternia, Bluprint, Reef the Lost Cauze, Blacastan, and Puma Ptah, and will be available on vinyl as well as CD through Fat Beats on Friday, Nov. 13th!

The emcee/producer duo recently connected with the legendary turntablist, J Rocc for their Countdown to Vangarde teaser; a 15-minute mix that includes classic cuts from Lif, along with Vangarde album leaks and mash-ups that blend his acapellas over Stu’s previously released instrumentals.
