Sydney based six-piece band that go by the moniker Motherfunk hit us up with their unique brand of fusion music. The band blend funk, jazz, soul and hip hop with an offbeat approach. Their latest piece of work is the groovy, funky tribute to grandparents everywhere who still have a bit of boogie left in them titled “Grandpa Groove” which shows the unpredictable style of the band, we get to hear their soulful side, the jazz improvisation styles and they even mix rapping and spoken word into the piece
While the track is a loose single, Motherfunk will be releasing their debut EP in February 2018 and celebrating it with an east coast tour in Feb/March.
