Modyst and Saï T are the usual musical suspects in their latest collaborative release, Isolation. The 5-track body of work is a moody and

 

The track opens up with “Gaslight,” a hard-hititng and dark track that sets the tone. The lyrics are edgy and unapologetic in many ways and sees Modyst embodying the spirit of a man who knows no bounds in getting things done. This is followed by “VOICES),” a soulful piece that explores his inner pysche and go-getter mentality. Here, he flexes his lyrical muscles and cpas it with subtle shots at the detractors. Next is the title track which seres as the midway point for the project and anchors it with a warm and soulful backdrop and profound lyricism. This continues in the next track “A Place For My head” which is a blend of self assessment and aspirational themes.

 

The project closes out with “Lone Efficiency” and “Lamentful.” The former explores Modyst lyrical proficiency and story telling while the latter is a reflective piece with edgy lyrics and expressive flows over a summery backdrop.
