Miss Storm has shared with us the visuals for her latest single, ‘Quicksand’. This track is culled from her yet to be released body of work, “Black Dreams”. Get ready to be uncomfortable as the video and lyrics pull no punches. Miss Storm speaks to the continuous tense relationship of the African American community and law enforcement officers.

Being Black in America can be an uphill battle and that is what this song really showcases. The video is shot in a cemetery to signify the people that have been lost in the struggle, and also the street marches which speak to the rise of a new generation who will not stand for the heavy handedness of the police. Miss Storm is not alone on this song, Madam X guest appears on this and both ladies deliver stellar lyrics speaking the pain of Black people in America. You can stream the song on Apple Music or possibly go here to download the track.
