Uprising South African rapper MIRE returns to our site with two tracks “life is absurd” and “$0nn3T 18” which once again showcase his stream-of-consciousness style and insightful songwriting.

“life is absurd” is a laidback and soulful tune that makes use of a classic soul sample that hip-hop heads would recognize and it captures MIRE’s reflective songwriting as he runs through the ups and downs of life and how he still manages to persevere through it all.

The second track “$0nn3T 18” is a love-themed tune inspired by William Shakespeare and sees MIRE pouring adulation on his partner and imploring her to love herself and do the things that really matter in life

Both tracks are lifted from MIRE’s new project entitled A Warrior in Disguise.
