“Really the 1” is the latest release from the rap duo Millyz and SUMiT, whose story-driven raps are hard to ignore. Backed by a thumping drum groove and soulful sample, the duo share their thoughts on friendship, love, loss, the effects of ambition and success in this modern world. Lines like “How the hell my brother in designer with a spot in Brickell?/How I’m with a bunch of dimes and I ain’t got a nickel?/Hit me with your punching lines them shits would kinda tickle/Spit some rhymes, you’re gonna find out why this guy’s a sicko,” do stand out and underpin the theme of the track.
