After years in the making, MarQ Spekt and METAL FACE Records’ MOBONIX are ready to unleash their highly anticipated project Bionic Jazz.  And fans will not have to wait much further, as the album is set for release next Friday.

Bionic Jazz is a freeform hip hop album with a concentration on an unorthodox, somewhat experimental, but wholly organic feel. It’s reminiscent of when jazz musicians would just pick up their instruments and play freely without worrying about the confines of what was the expected norm. In addition to MarQ Spekt andMOBONIX, the album features various musicians and producers (from the likes of Lex Boogie, Blockhead, Koredebt, Kool AK from The Micranots, Bean One, and The Metal Fingered Villain Doom) coming together to break down the barriers of today’s current musical atmosphere.

Check out the Blockhead-produced single, “Still Right In”. Bionic Jazz is available now for pre-orders on compact disc and mp3.
