Rapper/producer MADic goes into the darkest regions in his thoughts on his newest release titled “Gotham City”. Over dark, solemn piano chords, the rapper reflects on his commitment to carving a path for himself in the music industry and coping with the pressures of life that get in the way; all centered around the theme of living in New York City (aka Gotham City), where artists go to see their hopes and dreams either come true or die.

The production is a gritty mix of boom bap influenced drums and modern instruments, driven by the juxtaposition between the high pianos and a rumbling bassline.

It’s the second single from MADic’s upcoming EP ‘King Of The Real’, which will be released June 2019.
