LA-based singer and songwriter Madeleine Rauch releases her new single “Something Real” which sees her fusing alternative R&B with a touch of contemporary sounds. The German-born singer found her calling in music as a 5-year-old in the church choir and hasn’t looked back since.  Her new single is an uplifting and aspirational tune that dives into following one’s dreams despite external obstacles and self-doubt. Over the soothing guitar licks and solemn textures, she sings

At night I lie awake and see my dreams so clear
Then I wake up to a wave of all my deepest fears

My goals seem so far and I’m not enough
But my longing’s strong, I can’t just move on

Overall, “Something Real” is the perfect motivational push for listeners going through tough times who need some of that boost to get to the next stage.
