The first I heard of L’Orange was yesterday after reading this article about him by The Find Mag. I couldn’t believe what I’d been missing. Some of the best crafted beats I’ve had the fortune to listen to. Molded from chopped samples it has that utterly traditional flavour, perhaps appropriate considering L’Orange’s love and appreciation for old movies (hence the photo of Monroe and another reason I really like this dude – my parents ran a silent movie cinema of films from the 20s and 30s), but each track is dusty, almost mournful. They just mad nice. Anyway this track dropped  a couple of days ago, and go check his Bandcamp too.
