DMV act Lo Village keeps showcasing their growth with every release and on their new single “Richie Rich”, the trio raises the ante with this unique blend of hip-hop and rn/b/soul. Backed by a smooth alluring production, the rappers Kane and Tyler detail their experiences with some ladies who got their eyes on their prize while singer Ama ties it up with her angelic vocals on the chorus.

Words from the group about the single:

“Richie Rich is really an ode to the early 2000s, particularly artists like Ja Rule and Ashanti. Even though their style is different then ours, we grew up on them so we were definitely influenced by them. We had a lot of fun making the song and displaying our affinity for the early 2000s through the visual.”
