Lingo TFP (TheForgottenProdigy), an aspiring rapper hailing from Colombus, Ohio, releases his latest single titled “Destructive Mindset.” The young artist hits hard with potent, thought-provoking rhymes over a soulful yet compelling arrangement of melodies.

The single begins with a famous monologue from Rocky reminding us that life is not always sunshine and rainbows. It’s bout taking life’s punches with the ability to keep moving forward, that’s how winning is done.  Lingo steps in to piggyback with another cut-throat reminder, once we are gone the world continues to turn.

With his shaken anxiety, Lingo recaps jewels dropped from his pops when he was a young boy. He then describes a common theme of growth using survival mechanisms amid suspicious government, racist presidents,  communities overpopulated with drugs, poverty, and more. What appears to be a destructive mindset to others is simply staying on top of the food chain by any means. Listen to the single above.
