The uber talented singer/songwriter LeXus tantalizes with another sensual slow jam titled Mood For Love. The song is a solid pot pourri of dreamy soundscapes, mellow keys matched with a throbbing bassline that would keep your head nodding all the way through but the cheery on top is her vocals. LeXus has definitely tapped into what I would call the classic RnB/Soul region, she doesn’t over emphasize harmonies or try to impress you with complex melodies, she keeps it straight G’ed up with the way she carries the song. Precise, focused and purely organic.
