Northern Jersey representative LetsgetitTox drops his new project Reach for the Stars pt. 3. The 12 track project serves as the rapper’s personal diary and maybe an introduction to new listeners. The project starts off with the smooth banger titled “Still Runnin” where LetsgetitTox is motivated to the max as he lets the listener know that he is giving up easily regardless of all the obstacles around him. “Things Change”  has a more soulful vibe and fully documents Tox’s struggles and how he plans to rise above it all. “Things Change” is his take on the various changes in relationships, life, death and the overall changes in his environment as time passes. The next track titled “Crazy” is a middle finger to the naysayers who don’t believe his dreams and feel his vision is not realistic. He adds that “if you put in the time and effort to achieve those goals, it may seem like you’re crazy to others.”

“Never Again” again has a nice smooth soulful sample provided by Washington DC producer Aleem Bilal. LetsgetitTox paints a picture of himself kicking knowledge with someone from his New Jersey neighborhood. Tox questions the individual’s repeated mistakes and tries to get him to change his ways before its too late. The track “Came Along Way” is the first leak from the project and features his longtime collaborator Dubwork and sees the duo reflecting on their journey in this music industry. South Carolina producer Yung Shun laces Tox with the right upbeat banger on “What You thought” where Tox flexes his lyrical muscles while proving an obvious answer to the question of his validity in the game.

Overall LetsgetitTox brings a combination of thought-provoking lyrics, a smooth flow, and unique urban ideology throughout the project. As they say, third time is a charm and Reach for the Stars 3 hits the bullseye.
